Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 April 2026.

By using the our platform platform you agree to these terms. They cover quotes, policy purchase, claims, your responsibilities, and how we resolve disputes. If anything is unclear, ask us before proceeding.

1. Who we are

our platform is a licensed insurance broker, registered in Ghana and regulated by the National Insurance Commission (NIC). These terms govern your use of the our platform website, mobile app, and any related services.

2. Our role

our platform is a broker, not an insurer. When you buy a policy through our platform, your insurance contract is with the underwriting insurance company — not with our platform. our platform arranges the cover, services the policy, assists with claims, and is paid commission by the insurer (and disclosed to you).

3. Quotes

Quotes shown on the platform are indicative based on the information you provide. The final premium and acceptance is at the underwriting insurer's discretion. Quotes are typically valid for 30 days; the validity period is shown on each quote.

If your circumstances differ from the information provided (e.g. undisclosed health conditions, prior claims, modified vehicle), the insurer may adjust the premium, add exclusions, or decline cover.

4. Buying a policy

When you accept a quote and pay the premium, you enter into an insurance contract with the underwriting insurer on the terms set out in the policy document. our platform will email you the policy document and certificate within 24 hours of payment.

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the policy start date during which you can cancel for a full refund (less any time-on-risk premium for active days of cover).

5. Claims

our platform will assist you with the claims process at no charge. The insurer makes the final decision on claim approval and settlement amount. We will keep you informed and advocate on your behalf, but the contractual obligation to pay is the insurer's.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to: (a) provide accurate information when applying for cover or making a claim, (b) notify us promptly of any material changes (e.g. change of vehicle, change of business activities, new health diagnosis), (c) pay premiums on time, and (d) cooperate with reasonable claims investigation requests.

Misrepresentation or fraud may result in policy cancellation, claim denial, and may be reported to law enforcement.

7. Acceptable use

You may not: (a) use the platform to commit fraud, (b) attempt to access other users' data, (c) interfere with the platform's operation, or (d) use automated tools to scrape, copy, or overload the service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our platform's liability is limited to the broker commission earned on your policy. This does not limit our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under Ghanaian law.

9. Complaints

We aim to resolve complaints within 5 working days via our contact channels. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the National Insurance Commission of Ghana.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
